About Toon Tone
A color-matching game for cartoon and anime fans.
Toon Tone is a browser-based color matching game where players test their eye for iconic cartoon and anime colors. Each round presents a character image and asks you to match a specific part — hair, jacket, bow, skin, or suit — using hue, saturation, and brightness sliders.
How It Works
Five Rounds Per Run
Each game session consists of five rounds. In each round, you are shown a character and asked to match the color of a specific body part or clothing item.
Three Sliders, One Goal
Adjust the Hue, Saturation, and Brightness sliders until your color preview matches the target. When you are ready, submit your guess and see how close you got.
Instant Feedback
After each submission, we show your chosen color alongside the true answer and calculate a score based on perceptual color distance. The closer your match, the higher your score.
Leaderboard & Challenges
Track your best scores on the leaderboard and share challenge links with friends to see who has the sharpest eye for color.
Our Story
Toon Tone started from a simple observation: fans of cartoons and anime often have an uncanny ability to recognize character colors from memory. We wanted to turn that instinct into a fast, visual, competitive game that rewards careful looking instead of trivia recall.
The game is completely free to play in your browser — no account required for the core experience. Just open the site, start matching, and see how well you know your favorite characters.
